Category: Teen Leadership and Responsibility Development
New this year! 9th, 10th and 11th graders are invited to participate in a new Career Exploration Series. This 4-part series will include three half-day session where teens will complete a career match/assessment tool, pick a couple of job shadowing preferences, and get advice and ideas about how to make the most of your volunteer service and high school job experience(s). You’ll explore dressing for success and business etiquette. You and your parents will learn about financing your college education during one session. Teens will also be paired up for a one-on-one job shadowing experience with a Powerful Women Mentor!

Please send Laura Jeffcoat, ljeffcoat@gssc-mm.org the following information to let us know that you are interested: Teen Girl’s Name, grade in school, name of your school, email and phone number. Troop leaders may send information about a group of girls. Once we get at least 20 girls on the waiting list for your area, we will be in touch to determine the best times for the three half day sessions.
